An important announcement has been released involving this year’s ACE Day at Busch Gardens. Please read the general correspondence below from the Florida Regional Representative, Michael Christopher:
Dear Fellow ACE Members,
I have some unfortunate news to share with you. The planned ACE Day at Busch Gardens, scheduled for November 23rd, will be cancelled this year. While we are happy the park is seeing success with their Christmas Town event, unfortunately the earlier starting of this event created some logistical challenges regarding us hosting our event at this time. Additionally, the pricing was higher than anticipated and I was not confident we would be able to meet their contracted minimum requirements, nor would I see it fair to our members to charge such a higher price for minimal benefits. It pains me to make an announcement like this, but we all must understand that I made the decision based on the beneficial outcome for our members.
For November 23, I am now working with Fun Spot again to see if we can host an ACE Event there as a replacement. I hope to have more information to share with everyone by this upcoming Friday, but make sure to follow our Twitter and Facebook pages for more information.
The IAAPA Meet & Greet is still scheduled for Wednesday, November 20th at 7PM. We will be at a new location this year: BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse. Event details are available on ACE’s Events page or on our Florida Regional Website.
As your newest Regional Representative, the last thing I want to do is start cancelling events, but I can assure you that 2020 will be an action-packed year; especially with the additions of Iron Gwazi and Ice Breaker!
Thank you to all our Florida Followers and Members,
Michael Christopher
